My go to green collagen smoothie
I’m a sucker for a good smoothie! It’s a quick and easy way to get your daily intake of supplements, fruit and greens. I drink collagen every morning. Whether it’s in a smoothie or tea. It helps protect your joints and makes my hair grow like crazy! Amazing for the skin and nails, too! The adaptogens that I add to my smoothies change depending on what I need that day. Since being home all of the time I’ve been loving the Sun Potion ‘Rhodiola’. It’s a brain tonic that supports mood, creativity, stamina, immune strength, endurance, focus and metabolism. I find that it helps me get things done and feel less stressed. While shopping at WholeFoods a few months ago I picked up a green powder that has only 4 organic ingredients: spirulina, chlorella, wheat grass and barley grass. That’s it! This smoothie is great for those on the go, those who are trying to grow their hair out or anyone who’s just looking to try out a new smoothie recipe. Enjoy!
Ingredients:
Frozen organic mango
Frozen organic pineapple
Frozen orange slices
Frozen organic coconut chunks
1 inch piece of organic ginger
1/4 cup goji berries
8oz liquid (coconut water, filtered water or any milk of choice)
Handful of fresh organic kale
1/2 tsp Sun Potion Rhodiola brain tonic
Instructions:
Begin by adding your liquid of choice to blender
Add kale
Add all frozen fruit into the blender. (I’d use a small handful of each fruit)
blend until smooth
Add the rest of ingredients
blend
*Tip: If this consistency is too thin, add fresh or frozen avocado to thicken.
