Hey there! I’m starting a new ‘shop small’ series where I highlight a small business to support in the Houston area. I’m constantly exploring new places so I thought this series would be the perfect way to share my favorite local shops with you! Supporting small, local businesses is so important, especially during these trying times. I hope this series encourages you to #SHOPSMALL.

The first shop I want to share with you is a new store located in The Heights called Genara (heh•nar•uh). It’s a brand new store that opened in July of this year. They carry ethically produced goods that are of the highest quality. Owned by a husband and wife, you can find items such as stationary, fragrances, home goods, skincare, books, cards, drinkware and more. The owners are incredibly helpful and sweet. Check them out if you’re in the area!
